Micro evolution
The bible supports micro evolution with no problems at all. The account of Noah’s ark says that the animals went in two by two, male and female.
Of clean animals and animals that are not clean and birds and everything that creeps on the ground, there went into the ark to Noah by twos, male and female, as God had commanded Noah. Genesis 6:8-9
So, taking dogs as an example, the bible teaches that all the different kinds of dogs on earth today descend from the pair of dogs that entered the ark on that day.
The bible also mentions the people who entered the ark:
On the very same day Noah and Shem and Ham and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah’s wife and the three wives of his sons with them, entered the ark Genesis 6:7
The bible teaches that all the people on the earth today are descended from one of Noah’s 3 sons and ultimately Noah himself. This is micro evolution.
Macro evolution
The bible does not support macro evolution at all. The bible is very clear in the book of Genesis that God did not use an evolutionary process but He created man in His image.
God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Genesis 1:27
Before God created man he created the different kinds of animals. Today, we still see the different kinds of animals and when they reproduce they make the same kind of animal. For example, dogs will always produce dogs, and that is exactly what we see.
Jesus Himself believed in creation not evolution:
But from the beginning of creation, God MADE THEM MALE AND FEMALE. Mark 10:6
Any Christian who wants to believe in evolution is calling Jesus a liar.
If evolution is true then the book of genesis is just a fairy tale. If the book of genesis is just a fairy tale then there was no fall of man. If there was no fall of man then there is no need for a saviour.
